Andrew Barley '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'3", 195lbs tight end and defensive end student, football player at Newberry High School in Newberry, Michigan. I was a starter for both years of JV football, captain of the team for my second year and received MVP Offensive lineman as well. In my first year of playing on varsity, the coaches had me start on everything. At the end of the year, I was only out for 3 plays. I received All-Conference 1st team, MVP Defensive lineman, and "The Bone" (award for being the most valuable defensive linemen of the week: 3 times) I am very motivated and want to pursue football at the College level. I workout with my coach and team, an athletic/ personal trainer, and on my own. I have a part time job that I work hard at as well. My goal is to competitively play football at a higher level and to pursue academically, schooling as an Athletic trainer/ Sports nutritionist. Financial assistance is very important to me. I am open to a school in any location that could give me an opportunity to fulfill my goals.
