Personal Statement

I'm a three year starter at the varsity level and play middle linebacker and tight end. I love the game of football and want nothing more than to play at the next level. I pour my heart into this sport and I'm always looking to get better to reach my full potential. I never settle for where I stand in the recruiting process. I want to be the best and won't stop until I am. I watch several hours of film each week to evaluate my own performance and prepare for upcoming opponent.  I'm a very smart player and do what I am coached to do. I play to the whistle and give it everything I have from start to finish. I also play very physical.  I'm not afraid to hit. I'm working on getting bigger and faster and my fastest 40 time is a 4.83 (laser timed at Nike Sparq). I know I can be faster and I'm always working on my speed. I feel my knowledge for the game and the angles I take to the ball cover up for my speed now. When I get faster I will be able to make even more plays. I play for a 7 on 7 team in the off season and hope this will help show my athleticism to college coaches.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
