Personal Statement

My name is Kellen Overstreet and I am a senior at Penney High School in Hamilton, Missouri. I am 5’11”, weigh 200 lbs, and play running back and corner back. I have started the last four years on offense, defense, and special teams and earned 2014 1st Team All-State Running Back and Missouri Football Coaches' Association (MFCA) Offensive Player of the Year, and 2014 1st Team All District Running Back. 2013 1st Team All-State Running Back and (MFCA) Offensive Player of the Year, and 2013 1st Team All District Running Back. I also was selected as 1st Team All-State Athlete, 1st Team All-State Defensive Back,1st Team All-District Running Back and 1st Team All-District Defensive Back during the 2012 season. I also earned 2nd Team All-State Defensive Back and 1st Team All-District Defensive Back my freshman year. My current GPA is 3.95/4.0.

I’d like to go to a college that has great coaches, great facilities, and academics. I plan to major in kinesiology/biological sciences/chiropractic that may change. I am a hard worker on and off the field. I also believe I am a growing leader. As of July 14, 2014, I have committed to the University of Wyoming.
