Chris Shannon '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'0" wide receiver from New Fairfield, CT. I started both ways on the New Fairfield HS Football team during my Sophomore and Junior years there earning All Conference Honorable Mention for both seasons. This past year I took the opportunity to transfer to Trinity Pawling HS, and entered as a Repeat Jr. I again started both ways finishing with a successful season. I currently have an overall GPA of 3.40 and will be taking the SAT and ACTs this year. Over the years, I've played many key positions, successfully, including QB/Safety, Tailback/Corner and currently Receiver/Corner. I'm a dedicated, hard working, team player, who hates to lose. I consider myself to be very coachable and easy to get along with. I am interested in attending a College on the East Coast, North or South, preferably a larger school but I'm open to all options. I am considering pursuing a major in business or marketing, but have not definitively made up my mind. My goal is to play college football at the highest level I am capable of. Having the oppportunity to play for a team right away would be ideal, but education is my first priority.
