Personal Statement
My name is Austin Jackson from Cincinnati, Ohio. I am a senior at Turpin High School and am excited to take the next major step into college. Education is a huge priority of mine as I continue my journey forward. College is meant to provide students with the necessary tools and experiences to build a successful career. I am looking for an education system that will help me towards my goal of perusing a career in medicine and the medical field. I would also like to play collegiate athletics wherever my destination may be. I believe that I have the talent and work ethic to be a useful asset to any football program that will accept me. In athletics, and any other aspect of my life, I will not be outworked. If I am unsuccessful or in need of improvement, I will put in the necessary time and training to meet my team's and my personal expectations. I am dedicated to my skill and will continue to perform. Kicking is made of technique and discipline, which are both skills that I posses. Along with my performance on the field, I will also be held to strict discipline off of the field. My faith and Christian background has provided a strong moral base for my life. I do not participate in any activities that may be harmful to myself or others. I take an active role in my community through community-service, as well as participating after school community programs. I challenge myself to the most rigorous courses that my school offers, and put enough time into my studies to be a successful student in the classroom. Along with this, I will perform well in athletics. I have broken nearly every school record available at my position, along with being a leader to the players around me. I am confident in my abilities and my performance under pressure environments. My high personal expectations continue to drive me forward towards improvement everyday.
