Hello, my name is Sean Connolly. I am in my senior year at St. Edward High School in Lakewood, Ohio. I am the starting left tackle on a nationally ranked team.  I am 6'6.5" and currently weigh 290 pounds.  In addition to football, I played basketball my freshman and sophomore years of high school. I participated in AAU basketball for six years, including two trips to the national AAU tournament. While I have enjoyed basketball, I did not play my junior year so I could spend more time in the weight room.  During this offseason I added significant weight and strength. 

From an academic perspective, I have earned a 3.3 or better in every semester so far. I scored a 23 on the ACT, and I scored 560 on Math and 570 on reading for the SAT.

I believe that I could go to school anywhere. I have seen more schools in Ohio and the neighboring states (Michigan, Indiana, Pennsylvania, and Kentucky), but I have visited schools as far away as California. Good academics are very important to my family and me. My desired majors are history, education, or business, but I am not totally sure what I want to do yet. My goals for college are to play football at the highest level of
competition possible and go to the best academic school that will help me succeed later in life. I have enjoyed my experiences at St. Edward. While I could have gone to smaller schools and played varsity football and basketball earlier and more often, I felt it was important to push myself to play at the highest level possible and to focus on earning a great education at a prestigious school. For college I plan to continue to challenge myself on the football field and in the classroom.
