Emerson Buckland '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Emerson Buckland, I am a 6'0", 210 lb. starting linebacker, runningback and athlete from Medina, Ohio. I graduate in the year 2013 from Medina High School.  I am currently the Varsity Captain of the football team and will be a three year Varsity letter recipient. I have also won the Richard Clevidence Award for leadership, hard work, dedication and character on and off the field. My Junior year I primarily played linebacker and special teams with time at runningback. My Sophomore year I started at both runningback and linebacker on the JV team with Varsity time as well. Academically, I have participated in honors classes throughout high school and I currently have a 3.4 GPA. I am a determined, hard working, competitive team player.  I am an honest, respectful and trustworthy person with a dream to play college football. I feel that with my "first on, last off the field" attitude, I can contribute to the success of your football program.
