I play on the Franklin Road Academy team and consider myself a well-rounded old school athlete. I play WR, FS, CB for Franklin Road Academy and have also handled some of the punt and kick return duties... I lead my team in receptions and receiving yards as well as being the third leading tackler, lead in interceptions and had several strips. I see myself playing as a possession style receiver and like to work over the middle. I also enjoy playing free safety. I play several other sports which help me hone my skills in all aspects of the game. I have been a varsity starter on my schools state championship wrestling team. I had the opportunity to contribute to winning a state championship in our division. It took drive, determination and hard work to be able to accomplish this level of success in a hard hitting and gritty sport. I apply these same principals to my football preparations. I also enjoy playing soccer and have been a varsity starter since I was a freshman at FRA. My freshman year I had the opportunity to play for a state championship but we came up short in triple overtime. Having played different sports at these levels has helped me understand the level of commitment and hard work it takes to be successful.
As a student, Franklin Road Academy and currently have a 3.2 GPA and will be taking the ACT in the spring. I excel at algebra, history and strength and conditioning is my favorite class, but as an athlete I am a bit bias! Outside of the classroom I have had the opportunity to share my love of football and sports by working as an assistant coach at:
· Music with a Purpose NFL youth football camp ( featuring Kelly Holcomb)
· Franklin Road Academy’s summer soccer camp
