Spencer Jones '16 Recruiting Profile

As a football player I would love to take my talents to the next level.   I love the game of football and feel I could be used in many ways.  Not only do I think of myself as a quarterback, but an athlete that is willing to give it all for my team.  I love the Lord, and believe that wherever I go, God will be with me guiding me through both the peaks and the valleys.  I believe that whatever college will give me a chance will not be disappointed.  I am a 2016 3 year starter and I never come off the field. I play QB/S and I return punts.  I play basketball and run track as well as  maintaining a year round focus on training for the sport I love.  Although I love football and desire to take it to the next level, I am much more than just  an athlete.  I teach 2yr old Sunday school, and  have been involved in student government including being class president for 6 years.  I am also strongly  dedicated to the "best buddies" program which works with children with Down Syndrome in fact one of my best friends Rob has Downs ( we have been best buds since 4th grade), I can honestly say he has taught me more along the way than I could ever teach him. I am a follower of Christ  and am very active locally in my church and community and plan on taking that part of my life with me wherever I go. If you are looking for a leader and not a follower in your football and campus community then I ask that you take a minute to get to know me. I feel   we can make real change both on and off the field.
