Daniel Portillo '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Daniel Portillo and I am a Junior at John B. Connally High school in Austin, TX. I have played two years as the Varsity football kicker. My Sophmore year I was named as the 2nd All-District team Kicker and received an award for All-District Academics. My season as a Junior is going very well and I am aiming for a  another spot on the All-District Team. My goal is to be accepted into a rigorous engineering school. I am leaning towards the study of Aerospace Engineering. The closer that the school is to Texas, the better. However, should the opportunity present itself, I would consider attending a school that is further away from Texas. I would thoroughly enjoy having the chance to play as a Freshman in college, preferably in a highly competitive atmosphere.
