My name is Josh Latham and I am a 6'2" junior wide receiver for Westlake High School in Austin, Texas. My current weight is 180 lbs., I write left handed and throw right handed. My stats are bench -200, squat - 285, and I run 4.80 in the 40. I am best known for my outstanding hands and physical blocking. I have a 74" wingspan and 9 1/2" hands.
My goal is to be a contributing player on a Div. 1 or Div. 1-AA college football team.
I have played football since the 1st grade and it is my passion. I enjoy special teams, and I am on the kick coverage and return teams. I have been a holder in the past. I have also played free safety and outside linebacker. My current school is very large so we focus primarily on one position.
I was selected to attend the 2012 Football University Top Gun camp in Virginia as a Wide Receiver after my performance in the Austin FBU camp. I will also be attending combines around central texas this year.
My current GPA is a 92.0. As a sophomore I scored higher than 96% of all US students in math on the PSAT. The PLAN test estimated my ACT composite score at a 29-33. I am also a member of the Duke TIP Program as a result of my high SAT score as a 7th grader.
I am a featured member in the Westlake High School choir. I am active in my church youth group and volunteer as a counselor at Camp Barnabas, a camp for children with special needs in Missouri.
I am a great receiver, a hard worker, and I will do whatever is asked of me to help my team win.
