Eric Wheeler '15 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Eric Wheeler. I am 13 years old, 5 ft tall and weigh 90 lbs. My 100m dash is roughly 14 seconds. My major sports accomplishments so far have been playing for a TYFA football team called the South Texas Longhorns for 4 years, consisting of going to the State Semi Finals my last year, playing in the Army All American Bowl for TYFA All Star Game in 2008.. I also went to the FBU camp in Austin, TX and have been invited to the Top Gun camp in Virginia this year. I am a team player on and off the field; I strive to be the best I can be, whether it is in sports or in the classroom. The saying, â??It is my dream to play college ball,â? is true for me. I have been playing football since the age of 7. I bonded to this sport immediately and have loved the game from day one and am always looking for ways to improve myself. I would like to go to a school in Texas, since that is where I am from, but I am open to any school that I know I can excel in both with my education and my love for the game. As far as financial aid and scholarships, I have 4 other siblings, and I would need assistance to go to college. My dream is to play at the highest level possible for me and my athletic abilities, and to also obtain my degree in the major I choose.
