Personal Statement
My name is Coan Calabrese, Senior from Rockwall Texas. I started my junior year at corner back. I was voted Best Team DB, and received the Fighting Heart Award. I was also District Honorable Mention corner back in Texas 10-4A, and a 2010-2011 Scholar Athlete. Our team made the playoffs for the first time in three years.
My senior year I was voted team Captian. At CB I had 3 interceptions, one returned 40 yards for a touchdown. I was also the Yellowjackets leading receiver with 25 catches for 511 yards and 4 touchdowns. I was honored to be selected to the 10-4A All District Team as a first team receiver, and second team at CB. I made the Texas High School Coaches Association Academic All State Team, Was voted by my team as Best DB, Best Receiver, and Team MVP.
Playing college football while earning my degree is my dream and first priority. I have worked hard academically as well as physically to achieve my goal of being a student athlete. I like schools with high academic standards, but I’m open to all types of schools.
