David Volk '13 Recruiting Profile

Hi, My name is David, and I would like to pursue basketball at the college level.  I understand the game and how to move without the ball. I've improved greatly in the last year, becoming a captain and leader of my team. I love to learn, which encourages  me to do better at everything I do. I always have been a good student in keeping my gpa above a 3.75. Next year I'm taking AP classes to get ahead on College. Basketball-wise, I can stop and go on a dime, I handle the ball very well, I love giving assists/passes to assists, our team thrives at defense. I work hard striving to eliminate my weaknesses. I'm a fast learner and want to attend a college thats going to improve me academically and excel my game. It would be great to go to CSU Fort Collins, Co. to major in their Kinesiology program since I hear it is one of the best programs in the nation. I will need FAFSA assistance for college. I would like to play basketball in college to make an impact on a team and to better myself as a person. Any scholarships will help me get the best education possible. Basketball has been a part of my life since I can remember, and I would like to continue this through the collegiate level.
