Michael Berg '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'6'' 200 pound forward/center junior from central Illinois. This is my second year starting for the Midwest Central Raiders and third year playing for the varsity squad. I am not bashful in saying I am a natural leader and will tell another when and if they are doing something right or wrong, but I also believe I have the capability of being able to sit down, listen, and be an excellent teammate. I have received multiple all-area, all-conference, and all-tournament honors, the most recent being all-tournament at the Macomb-Western Holiday Tournament at Western Illinois University. My ideal choice for a school would be close to home and a Christian school. My major is still up in the air, but I am definitely leaning towards something in the Theology or Ministerial Studies department. I have a 4.0 gpa and scored a 32 on my ACT. Academics is very important for me, so I wish to attend a school with good to great academics. I would like to play at the highest level of competition as possible, while still making an impact on the team as soon as possible.
