Eric Higgs '17 Recruiting Profile

January 2017: I am a 6' Senior shooting guard/point guard from Farmington, IL.  Farmington Central is having a great season this year and I have been a starter and leader on the team since my freshmen year.  Last year, I was awarded First Team All Conference.  My sophomore year, I was awarded 1st Team All-Conference, 1st Team All-County, Fulton County Player of the Year, All Area-3rd Team, Class 2A State Champion-3 point showdown, and tied for 2nd Place-State of Illinois King of the Hill.  I currently have a 3.86 GPA and I would like to attend a college that is the best fit for me academically as well as allow me to play basketball at the highest level possible.  In addition, I have played football the last two years.  My Junior year I made the IHSA record list with 16 receptions for 300 yards receiving in a single game. I was also awarded First Team All Conference.  My Senior year I had a total of 1275 yards on 60 catches with 14 touchdowns in 12 games. My awards include First Team All State, PJ Star Team, WCI Team, First Team All Conference, and the All Mattson Team.
