Carroll Rich '14 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Carroll Rich. Thank you for viewing my profile. I have loved basketball my whole life and have been playing competitively for 11 years. I am a senior at Morris Knolls High School in Rockaway, New Jersey. As captain of the Golden Eagles Basketball team, I pride myself in being a mentor on and off the court. My motto is,”it takes a team to WIN; it can’t be done by one individual”. Basketball is my passion. I love to play and be part of a team. I have set goals for myself to become the best player I can and put the extra time outside of practice to work on my skills and conditioning every day. I want to make myself the best player I can be and help my team win. In addition, I’ve played AAU basketball for six years and have attended many competitive tournaments and elite camps, playing amongst some of the top talent in the nation. Just recently I was recognized in NJ Hoops as one of the top seniors at Hoop Group’s Metro 100 Elite Camp that was held in Neptune, NJ. My dedication to excellence prevails not only on the court, but also off the court. I realize the priority of being a well-rounded student. I maintain a 3.0 academic GPA with completed Honors Studies in English, Spanish and Social Studies. Supporting the community is also very important to me. I participate as a Junior Volunteer at Saint Clare’s Hospital in Denville, New Jersey, as well as, various outreach programs through the community and my church. I am excited about playing basketball at the college level. I know that with hard work and dedication I can accomplish anything. Thank you!
