2010-11 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I am a 6’10” center/power forward from Bixby, OK and will graduate in the 2012 class. I have started on the Bixby High School varsity team for 3 years. I helped get our team to the 6A state playoffs in both the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons. If you'd like to see season and play-off game film, please ask!
At the March 2011 Nike combine, my vertical was 36, reach 104.5 and wing span 82. I completed another combine in September 2011, and believe I exceeded those measurements. Others say I have a great ability to run the floor well for a big man and am a great on-ball defender. I have a weighted GPA of 3.2 and a 27 ACT score.
I am looking for a school where I can pursue both my interest in marketing / international business and my drive for playing basketball. I would like to be at a school with a great “college town” atmosphere. Financial assistance is going to be very important to me in the college selection process as my family will have high need. I would be willing to travel farther to a school with less out of pocket expense. I want to pursue playing competitive ball and am open to explore opportunities at all divisions. Best case, I would like to be in a program where I could make a big contribution early in my career.
