Marshall Thorpe '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Marshall Thorpe out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.  I'm a senior at Bishop Kelley High School.  I am 6'8" with a long reach.  I am a solid defensive player and can move my feet well for a big guy.  I have a smooth touch around the glass and can hit jumpers very well from within the arch.  I rebound well on both the offensive and deffensive ends.  Unfortunately, I was injured my entire junior year so I'm late to the recruiting scene.  I have grown 7 inches between sophomore and senior year and may still be growing.  I play in Oklahoma's largest league at 6A.  This is my first year to play and start at the varsity level, given that i was absent all last season. Since returning from injury, I have built myself into the athlete and player I know I can be. Just through what I have shown this year, there is much room for me to grow in these next couple years. I have had several double doubles this year and I'm looking for power forward position to play in college.  I am motivated off and on the court to improve all aspects of my game.   I am very excited to see what I will be able to accomplish at the college level.  I am looking for a highly competitive environment because I know that is where I excel best.
