Personal Statement

Hi, my name is Caleb Easterling. Education and sports have always been important to me and my family. Both of my parents teach. My dad also coached for a while. All of my siblings play sports, so I've grown up around sports my whole life. My dream is to further my education and continue to play basketball. I am very competitive. I hate losing more than I like to win. I work hard on and off the court. My strengths are penetrating, seeing the floor, and getting the ball to open teammates. I try to stay positive on the floor and encourage my teammates whether things are good or bad. My main goals going into my senior season are being more of a vocal leader on the floor and being more agressive on offense. I also need to work on my mid-range game. I have grown up in church. I have a very large family that is very close. I am looking for a college where I can pursue a good education, play basketball, and meet new people. I strive to be the best I can be in everything that I do. I think it is important to show leadership to my teammates and to set a good example for my peers.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
