Sean McGann '12 Recruiting Profile

As an athlete I feel I was blessed with height, being 6'4".  I have a good frame and am working to fill into it.  Only weighing 195 pounds right now, I am currently trying to get that up.  I feel that I am a fast kid with quickness as well.  In games I find that my speed and quick first step is good at getting me around a defender.  If I were to be placed on a team I can assure you that I will not be a kid that you will have to worry about.  I take a lot of pride in my off the field appearance as well as my on the field.  I can promise you that I will not be involved with drugs and alcohol along with crimes either.  I was a team captain for football and I know that a lot of the guys look up to me. I really have a good work ethic making every single workout I can.  I am one of those first guy in, last guy out when it comes to practices.  When I am determined to do something i push myself very hard to accomplish it.  Ever since I was a kid I have dreamed of college basketball and making the big shot.  I am committed to this game because it has grabbed my life.  I love it and want to play at as high of level as i can.  Although I love this game, I also love my family and staying close to them would be nice.  I would like to stay in the Midwest region if at all possible.  Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa would be my top states, but would consider others.  I do not really care about the size of the school or population.  I am totally open to all types of schools.  Although my family is comfortable with income, I would love to get all the financial aid I possibly could for school.  In terms of major I am not sure yet but I am leading toward teaching.  I would love to play at the highest level
