My name is John Scalese and I will be a senior at Patchogue-Medford High School in New York. I have been the captain of the varsity golf team for the past three years and work on a golf course, so I am constantly immersed in all things golf. I get to play and practice regularly and my goal is to improve each and every day. My wish is to be challenged academically in school and both mentally and physically on the golf course. Although my golf career began late, meeting the challenge of childhood leukemia I have gotten to this point without any actual coaching or teaching. I believe I have untapped potential and with a bit of fine tuning I feel I can become an excellent player. I look forward to all the challenges and opportunities ahead.
