Tennis is my rock! While other things have come and gone in my life, tennis has always been a big part of my life since I was 10 years old. I love the sport and most of my strongest friendships have come from the tennis community. Tennis has taught me so much and has given me insight that will carry me through college and the rest of my life. The best lesson I have learned from tennis is to always focus on the next point. Like with life, the game keeps going, even when you make a mistake. Character is built by how you handle that mistake and move forward. It has taught me to be quick in my decision making so I can recognize what went wrong and to continue to concentrate and improve on all that comes next. Tennis has taught me the importance of self-reliance and discipline. To succeed in school, sports and life, we need to make certain sacrifices to realize our goals. Whether it is pushing a little harder in practice or putting in that extra hour of studying, being a student-athlete has helped me learn how to prioritize my goals in order to achieve those that are most important to me. My goal is to play college tennis and find the perfect fit with a great tennis program and strong academics. I am very coachable and have a very strong work ethic. I am passionate about tennis and love competing hard. After college I want to work hard to become a head tennis coach at a college and help build a winning program. I am passionate about being part of a team and developing great relationships in college that will last forever. I aspire to make a difference in people's lives!

Kind of a fledgling program that has a top Idaho team that plays top teams from other states a the junior level. We have had limited success scheduling matches, but I have done this off and one for about 5 years.

Lewiston Invitational 2015
3/20/15 to 3/21/15
I won the whole singles #1 tournament. 12 schools from all over Idaho and Washingtong in town to compete and I played only #1 from each team. Didn't lose any matches and won the final 6-2, 6-1 against a strong singles player.

Level 6 - 2014 BRSC Winter Junior Classic - District Open (Played Doubles Only)
12/19/14 to 12/21/14
My partner and I won the tournament in doubles (18's). I was only able to play doubles because my work schedule over the winter.
Camp/Event
Level 5 - Idaho Potato Junior Challenge - ITA District Cup (18's)
9/12/14 to 9/14/14
Went 4-1 in singles and won the consolation. My only loss was to a high ranked 3 star player from Utah in a 3 set match. In doubles my partner and I lost in the finals. We actually had 5 separate match points, but couldn't close it out and lost a heart breaker. Very happy with my results and I was really hitting the ball well and playing smart.

USTA Intermountain Level 4 Summer Masters (18's)
8/10/14 to 8/13/14
Great showing in doubles at this high level event. My partner and I lost in the Semi Final match to the team that easily won the tournament. It was a combo of a high 4 star player and high 3 star player, but we played tough. In the Qaurters we beat a 4 star/3 star combo team after going down 1-5, we came back and fought to win 9-7. In singles I won my first 2 matches of the main draw and then lost to the #1 seed. Hurt my big toe pretty bad and then lost in the backdraw in a tough 3 set match to a good player. Overall a very good tournament and I was hitting the ball well and thinking well on the court.

Level 5 - Ed Treat Memorial Junior Championships - ITA District Cup (18's)
7/28/14 to 7/30/14
Excellent Tournament for me - Played 3 events in this one........singles, doubles and mixed (all were best of 3 sets). 4-2 in singles, losing in the consolation final (lost both matches to the same guy who is highly rated). In doubles, we made it to the final and lost in a 3rd setter. My partner and I won the entire tournament in mixed.

(Open) The Lyle Pearson Fourth of July Tennis Championships Presented by Sun Valley Resort
7/04/14 to 7/06/14
Youngest player to play in the open division. I played my was into the semi-finals in singles (Beat a D1 player from Lafayette College in PA) in my first round. In doubles I played with my high school coach and we won the backdraw. Our only loss was in a tough 3rd set tiebreaker.
Went 3-2 in singles and was happy with the way I played overall. Only lost matches to seeded players. In doubles my partner and I won our first match and then lost to the #2 seed. This was a good introduction to 18's as this level is still new to me and I am working my game to fit the increased pace and level of play.

Idaho State Tennis Tournament (High School 5A - Large High Schools)
5/16/14 to 5/17/14
Placed 3rd at state overall in the toughest division in Idaho. I had a great season going 27-2 overall during the entire high school season playing #1 singles. I had both loses to one guy that has a lefty game that is funky and worked against me. I beat everyone else during the season including the winner and second place finisher at state. I am still rated as the #1 player in Idaho, but had one loss during state which only allowed me to place 3rd overall. I felt good about the season and my steady and improving performance.
Camp/Event
USTA Intermountain Level 4 Spring Masters (18's)
4/18/14 to 4/22/14
This was my first big 18's tournament even though I can still play 16's by my age. I went 2-2 in singles and played really well. I beat 2 solid singles players and my losses came to seeded players. In doubles we won our fist match and then lost to the #2 seed team. Good overall for my first 18's travel event.

ITA Great Pumpkin Sectional Championships (16's)
11/08/13 to 11/12/13
Great tournament in both singles and doubles. It was a very tough 64 draw and in singles I made the Quarterfinals. In doubles I made the Quarterfinals as well, but didn't play as well as I would have like to in doubles as we should have made it to at least the semifinals.
Camp/Event
Zonals - Intermountain Section BG16
7/24/13 to 7/28/13
Felt like this was one of my best tournaments ever. Playing in this high profile event, I went 4-1 in singles (beating two players with 3 star rankings and two players with high 2 star ratings). In doubles I went 2-3, but felt good about the competition that I played. My doubles partner for two of my losses was hurt and not feeling well, but still tried hard and battled with me. Great event!!!

USTA Regional Tournament Segment- July (Elm Grove) - 16's
7/06/13 to 7/08/13
This was my first national travel event outside my Section. I played great and beat a 4 star player (TJ Oosterbaan) in my first round. I was close to beating another 4 star player from Maryland, but he stepped up at the end and stole it from me. I had him in the 3rd set tiebreaker 7-3, but he eventually won 11-9. It was a great learning experience for me.
Camp/Event
Tri-Cities Invitational (16 High School Teams)
4/12/13 to 4/13/13
I won the whole event in the #1 singles draw. Probably my biggest win ever! 16 high schools from Washington, Oregon and Idaho met in Tri-Cities. I played in the #1 draw and beat all upperclassmen through the tournament and beat a high ranked favorite in the finals in a tough three set match. I was told that I am the first sophomore to win this event in its history. Super proud of this accomplishment as I played extremely high level tennis.
Camp/Event
ITA Easter Circuit (16's)
3/29/13 to 4/02/13
Overall a strong performance. I beat 3 kids that are all highly ranked players. Got knocked out of the main draw by the player that won the whole tournament and actually played pretty strong against him despite the lopsided score. My other loss was to the 14th seeded player and I had set points in each set, so I was happy with my performance, but not happy with how I let those sets slip away. This is a great learning experience. In doubles we won our first round match and got knocked out by the 5th seeded team.
Camp/Event
Crane Creek Junior Christmas Classic Sanctioned (16's)
12/14/12 to 12/16/12
#1 Seed and I won the tournament. Played very strong tennis, giving up a total of only 7 games through the entire tournament.
Camp/Event
ITA BG 16's Fall Circuit (Las Vegas, NV)
9/07/12 to 9/12/12
Great results.....beat higher sectionally ranked players during this event: Beat #44, Beat #31 and #35 sectionally ranked players. All ranked higher than me in this event. In doubles I made it to the consolation semifinal
Camp/Event
Baja Fresh Idaho Grand Prix Championships 16's/18's (Boise, ID) sanctioned
8/15/12 to 8/18/12
Excellent Event: I won the whole event in singles 16's and beat several seeded players along the way. In doubles (18's) I lost in the finals in a close match. Won the whole tournament in Mixed doubles (18's) with my awesome partner. Overall I played fantastic tennis and was proud of my results.
Camp/Event
ITA BG 16's Summer Sizzler 16's (Montana)
8/03/12 to 8/05/12
This was a compass format so I got a lot of matches with awesome results. I beat the #6 seed of the tournament in the main draw. Also in the backdraw, I beat 2 players ranked much higher than I am in the section. Great results overall
