Grant Grosvenor '11 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'10" middle distance runner from Mill Creek, Washington. I have lettered all four years of my cross country career in high school. I have also lettered in both years I have done track. The highlight of my season last year was anchoring our teams 4X400m with a 48.5 second split to bring my team from 7th to 3rd, qualifying us for state. From that experienced I learned I could push my body to its unknown limits in the heat of competition. To a track program, I know I could offer a great combination of leadership and also flexibility as far as my talent ranging from the 400m to the 1600m, including relays. I am looking for a school that can provide me with a strong academic foundation and can also develop me as a runner, later helping me achieve my ultimate goal of competing in the 2016 Olympics.
