I am Summer Wright and I am currently a junior in high school and I play softball. I have been playing baseball and softball since I was four years old. I started playing travel ball when I was nine years old and I am still playing. I am a hard worker and I never give up on the field. I never horseplay on the field, but I do have fun while I am playing. Softball is something that I love and take pride in. I always am interested in what my coaches teach me and tell me. I am always ready to improve my skills because I know there is always room for improvement. I am also ready for any changes my coach wants to make of my form and actions while playing and practicing softball. In my seventh grade year of middle school, I was one of the team captains for the softball team. In eighth grade I achieved Most Valuable Player. My sophmore year of high school, I was awarded First Team All-Region, and Pitcher of the Year. My dream is to play for a college team, and get a Master's degree in Geology, and then go on to be an Exploration Geologist.
