Julia Ramsey '14 Recruiting Profile

I am a proud member of the class of 2014. I am currently 5'10" and weighing 160 lbs. I strive to be strong under the boards and capable of knocking down the outside shot when needed. After playing at the Varsity level my Freshmen and Sophomore basketball seasons at Ida S. Baker High School , I transferred to Cape Coral High School located in Cape Coral Florida. I maintain a 3.5 GPA while attending several honor classes. I realize that playing at the next level requires hard work both on and off the court. I view basketball as a year round sport playing high school and travel ball. I continue to work with a personal trainer weekly to improve my game and identify weaknesses. My future plans currently include playing basketball at the next level while pursuing a college education. I have a strong interest in both nursing and criminal justice. I am the daughter of Shawn and Marian Ramsey and my biggest fans include my two younger brothers. I remain active in my community volunteering at the local YMCA and attending services at Grace United Methodist.
