Haleigh Hatfield '15 Recruiting Profile

I'm six foot tall and in the eighth grade. I've played middle school basketball for two years. I have started and led my team in scoring both years. Last year I was MVP. Last year I played post, which I've played since I was seven years old. Last season for AAU my coach used me as point guard and my middle school coach did also. I'm currently on a travel team, playing up and I'm a starting guard/forward for them. We are doing alot of big tournaments. We played in Fairfax last week and went undefeated. At team camp I've won the 1on1 contest every year and last year I took both it and the 3 pt contest, sweeping their two contests. Right now, my coach is Katheryn Lyons (Maryland University) and I want to be as smart and as good of a shooter as she was. My goals are to lead our high school to a state championship (they got conference champs this year) then play college basektball and then continue playing. I love basketball.
