August 2013Personal Statement
I am looking for a university where I can play Division I women's golf and get a great education. I wish to be challenged in school, in golf and be part of a successful program and enjoyable team environment. I want a coach that pushes me and helps me become a better golfer and person. I will be active with the university and golf program after I graduate.
Recent Golf Highlights include:
- 2013 WI high school girls golf Player of the Year - Milwaukee Journal, lowest scoring average in state.
- 2013 MAJGT (Midwest Tour) Points Winner
- 2nd at the 2013 Wisconsin high school Division 1 state tournament.
- Shot 8 under par to win my sectional by 16 strokes, beat the course record by 5 strokes and led my team to state.
- Won my regional, was conference player of the year and averaged 72 for the season.
- Shot in the 60s four times since July 2013 and have a nine hole round of 30.
- Won 2 of the largest Wisconsin high school invitational tournaments in 2013.
- Named 2nd team all FCWT for the 2012/2013 summer season.
- Won 3 MAJGT (regional) events in 2013 and earned 25 AJGA stars.
- Won the Wisconsin qualifier and then finished 30 of 90 in the 4 day Optimist International at PGA National.
