Caroline Beckett '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Caroline Beckett and I love lacrosse.  I play Club lacrosse for KC KNOBLOCH on SOUTH JERSEY SELECT. I play Varsity lacrosse for coach JESSICA BLAKE (St. Joe's)  and coach LAUREN SIMONE FARRELL(Princeton) at Haddonfield Memorial High.   My goal is to play collegiate lacrosse at the highest level.  

In June 2017 I was selected to the "All-Conference First Team" Attack (Colonial).  In May 2017 I was chosen for the "National Tournament Team – NJ South – Team 1" .  In May 2016 I was chosen for "National Tournament Team – NJ South" as the alternate Attack.  In November 2016 I was chosen as an Attack for the "FAB 40 ALL-STAR team at the 2016 Philly Showcase".  Although I currently play high school soccer my true love is lacrosse.  In 2015 & 16 I was our lead soccer scorer my freshman and sophomore year with 14 & 13 goals respectively.  I sprint & high jump on our Winter Track team to increase my speed and agility. I have played South Jersey Select Lacrosse the past 5 years. 

When looking for a College to play for, I realize that academics are priority. With that in mind I challenge myself to work hard in the classroom and I believe my 4.04/4.0 GPA reflects this.  I am also a Peer Leader and a steering committee member on the Interact club at my high school.  Majors that spark my interest are Health Sciences and Nursing.  I hope that I can combine my hard work in Lacrosse with my academic goals to find a college that suits me best.
