I will be a senior this fall at Okemos High School, and started in the water when I was six. Since then, swimming has been a huge part of my life. I'm lucky to have found a passion so early, and my love for the sport always drives me to become better. I currently train with Spartan Swim Club, and am surrounded by a positive atmosphere with my coaches and teammates. During practices, I love being competitive and always try to lead as best I can. This past high school season I was captain of the team, and will fill the position again my senior year. From motivating individuals to enhancing team cohesion, I am a person who supports and helps others. I push myself everyday, and am determined to achieve my end of season goal - bettering my times. Being a swimmer, my schedule is constantly busy. Juggling practices and school can be challenging, but I am good at managing my time to be successful in both. My long term goals include swimming at the collegiate level and getting an Olympic trial cut before the end of my swimming career. I hope to work with a great team in the future!
