Sheila Borders '18 Recruiting Profile

My personal motto is "if better is possible, good is not enough". I feel that I do not have a limit and as long as I put forth my best effort I can achieve anything. My collegiate goals are broad. I want to excel as a player however I want to have a positive impact on my team. I want to win. I believe I am a good candidate for your team because I am a leader, I have love and passion for the game and I am willing to put in time, hard work and determination to get my team to a winning status. I am different because I am a diverse. I know how to build rapport with my coaches and teammates. By being an all around player I am willing to play wherever my team needs me. I am not selfish. Athletically, it is simply in my genes to play. I work hard on an off the court, in the weight room, and training sessions to make sure I am conditioned to play at my max. Academically, my mothers has drilled how important it is to be focused in the classroom. I challenge myself to excel and to accomplish.
