“Thanks for you interest in our great midwest university. I invite you to check out our links below to find out more about Buena Vista University and the opportunities we have to get an amazing college education and to be able keep the playing the sport you love, tennis. Like you, I was once a High School student who didn't want to give up playing tennis once I got to college, and so I made the choice to find a school just like BVU to further my tennis playing days. I am looking for players who have that same love of the game and who want to be a major part of a tennis program right from day one. I am looking for players who are coachable, fun, outgoing, and have a burning desire to get better each and every day they pick up their raquet. Our practices are intense and designed to work you in different directions each and every day to better your game and those teammates you are out their with. We also have a lot of fun at our practices by playing music, having King of the Court prizes often, and take that same drive and fun to our matches. Our campus is located on the edge of a beautiful lake that offers plenty of fun activities after your classes and practices are done as well. Most of the classes, dorm rooms, bookstore, library and cafeteria are located underground for a once in a lifetime kind of experience. (It will also come in handy in the middle of an Iowa winter too) :) Because we are a NCAA DIII school, we do not offer scholarships based solely on athletics, but our Admission staff works aggressively with all perspective students to give them every possible chance to get their education and continue their playing days with as much help as they can offer with grants and more. Please take a bit of time to go to the school's website athletic links below and start the process so that our academic advisors can get you in to our system and begin to get you down the road toward becoming a Beaver Men's Tennis Player! Our school has been picked as an US News and World Report Regional College Best Value Award winner again in 2016. The school has also implimented a brand new True Promise program that is second to none for our student atheltes. We also have a teacher to student ratio on campus of 9 to 1 and over %60 of the students on campus are athletes with the same drive and goal as you, to become better athletes and to get an college degree! Thanks for taking the time to read this, and hope you take a little extra time to fill out the below links, and if you have more questions, please feel free to contact me whenever you want.
