    What the Coaches are Saying...
    Aug 23, 2019

“Corban University is a small, Christian liberal arts university that is ranked #1 in Christian schools and #3 overall for universities in the state of Oregon. We are an hour from the beach, and hour from Portland, and an hour from the mountains, so there's something for everyone here! We will be one of the first collegiate varsity programs in the state of Oregon offering women’s lacrosse scholarships, so we will start off playing at a very high level. We are in the NAIA, but will be engaging NCAA DIII, DII, and a DI club or two in our season as the sport continues to grow in the area, gearing up to be competitive for the NAIA National Championship very early on. Our inaugural season will be 2020-2021, and I'm looking for rockstar girls to build our program around. A Corban Warrior women's lacrosse player is: -A genuine follower of Jesus Christ, dedicated to playing and living for His Glory. -An excellent student, committed to maintaining a 3.2 GPA or higher. 3.5 is the average GPA on the Corban campus. -A driven teammate, always giving everything she has on and off the field with the goal of making her teammates better. -Someone who wants to treat her team as family, and does the hard work it takes to create those deep relationships. -A fun lover...we're here to have fun, remembering it's always more fun to play to win--as long as we're committed to winning with class. Program Vision: To build a family that wins an NAIA National Championship for the Glory of God. Program Mission: To use lacrosse to develop excellent women who are confident in the individual, unique identities in Christ.”
