What the Coaches are Saying...
Aug 28, 2023

“Please have a look at our website: www.daemen.edu. We are a very good academic institution, known nationally for our Physical Therapy and Physicians Assistant programs but also offer many other areas of study. Currently we play in the East Coast Conference in NCAA Division II. We just finished our transition from the NAIA to the USCAA and finally into Division II. We’re a small college with about 2,000 undergraduate students and are located five minutes from Buffalo, twenty minutes from Niagara Falls and Canada. Our home games are played on a turf field and the team is sponsored by NIKE. We typically play an attacking 4-4-2 diamond midfield or a 3-4-3 formation, going 15-3 in 2011 and winning the regular season NAIA American Mideast Conference. Six of our players made an All – Conference team, while our captain at the time, Lindsay Miller earned conference player of the year. Her and former player Sam Engel both earned All American status. In 2012 we won the USCAA National Championship game 1-0 in overtime. Three players earned All-American status, two more earned Academic All-America and four made the All-Tournament team at Nationals including Kim Obermeier earning National Championship player of the game. 2013 we lost the National Championship game in OT 3-2 but did place 4 players on the All-American list along with other player/team accolades. 2014 we lost the Championship game 2-0. This past Fall we completed our Division II membership and improved from 0 conference wins to 4 only missing the playoffs by one spot (top 4 go out of 10 teams). If you like what you see please feel free to contact me at any time. I would love for you to come in, meet the entire coaching staff and receive a campus tour from one of our players. We offer both academic and athletic scholarships. Let me know if you have any questions - [email protected]
