Jackson Carmichael '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jackson Carmichael and I would love to continue my baseball career at the next level.  I have loved and played baseball since I was 3 years old.  I played park ball until I was 7 years old and then went to travel ball starting in 8U with Prime Time Baseball.  During my time in playing Perfect Game tournaments, I have received 55 awards in 57 events, including tournament MVPs and Pitching MVPs.  

At Bessemer Academy, I was a starting pitcher on varsity as a freshman, sophomore, and junior while also playing shortstop and 2nd base (with a little catching thrown in as well).  I made the AISA 2nd Team All-State Pitcher in 2024 voted on by the Alabama Sportswriters Assoc.  I work on my conditioning, strength, and fundamentals daily while keeping up my grades.  I am an A/B student in all honors classes with a current GPA of 4.17.  Anything that is asked of me I do and I try everyday to give my all on and off the field.  I push myself to be a true leader and will set an example for my teammates.  

I am a member of Crossroad Baptist Church and my faith is very important to me.  I believe that in order to succeed you have to be true to God first and yourself second.  This is how I want to lead my teammates as I go forward in my career in baseball.
