Ethan Carrouth '19 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6 foot, 220-pound Junior from Sulligent High School in Sulligent, Alabama.  I love baseball and thrive on the camaraderie that accompanies it.  My primary position is first base. However, being from a small school allows me to play multiple positions as needed such as pitcher, catcher, third base and short-stop.  I have started on the Varsity baseball team since 8^th grade and received team awards in pitching, hitting, team player and golden spikes.  I also play/have played varsity football, basketball, golf and fishing for Sulligent High School and I love to hunt and fish.

My Junior year season is going well.  Currently, I am batting .443 with 5 strike outs on the year.  We have three games left to play.

My goal is to play college baseball where I can contribute to the team.  I have received compliments from coaches on my leadership, hard work and for being a quick learner and very coachable.  I spend most of my free time working on baseball skills and new techniques given to me by my coaches.  My ideal geographic location is the Southeast, but would consider all opportunities where I can play baseball. 

I am a hard worker in the classroom and on the field.  I have taken and am currently taking honors classes including AP and dual enrollment for college courses.  I am considering different college majors and have yet to decide on one.
