Braden Watkins '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Braden Watkins and I will be starting my Senior year at Hamilton High School in Chandler, AZ (2020/2021). I've been playing baseball since I can remember (age 4) and have enjoyed every minute of it! I have so many incredible and fun memories playing for Chandler National Little League - including 3 years on the CNLL All Stars Team. I remember my 1^st summer experience with All Stars really drove my passion for this sport. After that summer, I wanted to play year round working to improve my skills and technique. This gave me the opportunity to improve my pitching, infield and outfield positions. And for 2 years we were District Champions! As I got older, I moved into club baseball, played Jr. High School baseball (7^th&8^th) and was very fortunate to make the feeder team for Hamilton which took me to the next level. 

I’ve had the privilege of being part of Hamilton Huskies Baseball program since my freshman year and was very excited to make the Varsity Team last spring. Sadly, the season ended before it really got started. We ended 8-0 and ranked 1^st in State. I’m hopeful we will have a 2021 baseball season and I am dedicated to working hard for our team success. 

I would love the opportunity to continue to play this sport that I have so much passion for at the next level. Currently, I’m considering pursuing an Engineering or Business degree – I’ve completed 2 years of Business Management classes at Hamilton. I am also researching my other interest this year with Sports Medicine.
