I have played baseball my entire life and have always wanted to play my best against the best. As a member of the Arizona State Champion Hamilton Huskies, I played with and against the best players in the state. In my senior year at Hamilton, I was awarded first team all section D1 and first team all state D1. After four years on the team I was awarded the most improved player. By the end of my senior season I had a batting average of .422. I started every game at first base my senior year, but I can play all over the diamond.
I am entering my sophomore year at Mesa Community College in Arizona. Last year, my true freshman year, I played first base during the first half of the season and third base during the second half. In 52 games played, I had a batting average of .282 with 1 HR, 27 RBI's, 22 runs, and 5 stolen bases.
While at MCC I have demonstrated my strong arm and quick reflexes by playing third base. Being 6'3" and 195 lbs I am known for my power more than my speed, but the intelligence I have for the game will help me improve in all areas. I am a hard worker, mentally tough, and eager to learn from coaches. Throughout my high school and college career so far I have always been the first to the field and last to leave.
I hope to further my baseball career at a NCAA school where the competition is the best. While playing baseball I plan to major in Criminal Justice.
