Landon Getreu '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Landon Getreu and I am a Senior at Desert Ridge High School in Mesa, Arizona. I am an LHP, 1st baseman.  I have been playing baseball since the age of 6 and my love for the game has continued to grow throughout the years. I am extremely motivated to play baseball in college and beyond. 

I did not start playing Club ball till the age of 9 when I was asked to join a team with a bunch of my friends. Now I play with one of the top teams in Arizona with the best coaching staff and some of the top players in the state also.  I am the starting 1st baseman with One National baseball club managed by Cody Ransom.

I am very competitive in sports, video games, UNO with my mom and younger sister, or even a little 1v1 pickup basketball game in the driveway with my dad. I would not be the person or player I am today without my parents.  They push me day in and day out to be the best that I can possibly be. With that being said, I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I have the talent to compete for a college team and the character, work ethic, and leadership skills to immediately impact your program. I am a goal-oriented, dedicated, and self-motivated individual. I aspire to play baseball at the collegiate level.
