JD Mettham '20 Recruiting Profile

I have been a dual sport athlete most of my life up until recently giving up football for my passion to succeed in baseball. I have been recognized over the year as a scholar athlete maintaining above a 3.5 GPA as well as being recognized for my academic achievements and excellence by the national society of high school scholars. I'm a hard worker on an off the field, I put in the extra work after practice to continue my growth for the love and respect of the game.  I had a great Freshman Season with a batting average of .408 was 3rd on the team with doubles and runs scored during the spring season. My parents have given me the tools and ability to put in the hard work, the long drives, hours and sweat has made me so thankful of their time. Im honored to show them the character, determination, mental and physical strength they have instilled in me through baseball and my academic achievement.
