Paxton Prentice '20 Recruiting Profile

As a person, I have strong morals and values both on the field and off. This is important because I want others to know the kind of person I am, regardless of who is watching. I want to be someone that younger kids look up to and teammates follow. I see myself as a quiet leader. I am not outspoken or direct. Rather, I am that person who encourages others more one on one. I also have a strong work ethic. This isn't just on the field but in all aspects of my life including school and my job. I know that there is always room for improvement and am willing to work towards it whether this be individually or as a team. Having a strong mental focus and setting goals gives me the ability to do this.  While my greatest desire is to play baseball professionally, I also enjoy freshwater and marine animals. In college, I hope to obtain a degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Management while playing ball.
