Lucas Tobin '25 Recruiting Profile

I started playing baseball when I was 10 years old after focusing primarily on soccer in my younger years. I had a lot of catching up to do, but with support from my family and some great coaches, I put in the extra work and was able to play competitive baseball in a short amount of time. My faith has helped me to overcome challenges both in my personal life and on the baseball field. I learned from baseball and other sports how to overcome adversity, the importance of being a team player, and the joy of competition. 

Baseball has also taught me many life skills, including that hard work pays off. Through my dedicated efforts and commitment, I am viewed as a leader among my peers and teammates. I have also applied myself and am successful in my academic career, and take honors and college credit classes. In college I would like to focus on business and learning a trade. I believe I would be an asset to any school or team, based on my skills, principles, and values.
