Christopher Gaudio '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Christopher Gaudio, I am 6’5”ft. tall, 210lbs RHP and also play 1B and OF. I am in the transfer portal, looking for a place to call home for my final year of eligibility, pending another year of eligibility. On the mound, I attack hitters with command of all 4 pitches, I am successful in first pitch strikes with my goal of getting all hitters out within 3 pitches or less. I look at pitching as offense, where attacking all hitters leads to a greater success on the mound. Baseball is my passion so I want a program where I can come in and be a leader and mentor the underclassmen. Overall, I love to compete and will do whatever it takes to win and be the hardest worker on the team, on and off the field. All I am looking for is an opportunity to go out there and win for a program!

In high school, I played baseball and football my Freshman and Sophomore years at NDP and varsity lettered in both sports my Sophomore year. However, baseball has always been my passionate. I am have always made the sacrifices necessary to outwork my teammates and opponents in anything I do. I am committed to improve my game by either working out in the weight room more often or taking extra reps on the field to achieve my dreams of being drafted one day. In the classroom, there's no exception. I work harder than most my classmates and make academics a priority. As a senior at Notre Dame Preparatory, I was inducted into the National Honor Society, and have a 4.08 weighted and a 3.98 unweighted GPA. I was active in student government and was selected to be House Leader all four years of high school. 

My goal is to find a school that is a good fit for me, and a place where I can make an impact on the field. It is my goal to play in the MLB. It is also my goal to graduate college to use my education to have a successful career after baseball in honor of my parents for all the time and money they put into my baseball that allowed me to realize my dreams.
