Baseball is everything. I love the game baseball; watching and playing every chance I get. I work very hard and practice daily to improve my game. I have played many positions, including pitcher and catcher but mostly played at infield positions. I I am young for my grade, but a strong member of my team. I am the only freshman at Berkeley High School to have hit the ball over the fence this year during a game. I was also was one of four freshman that got moved up to JV. At BHS I mainly play second base but have also played short-stop, third base, catcher and pitcher when needed. I not only give my all to baseball but give the same effort and persistence to my academics. During the '20-'21 academic year, I took Advanced Math and Spanish in addition to my English, History and photography class, my GPA was 3.85. Next year, I have to opportunity to be part of the International Baccalaureate program at Berkeley High. I will continue my academic load with Advanced Math, Advanced Placement Chemistry, Advanced Spanish, in addition to the IB coursework. Next year when school returns in-person, I am looking forward to joining a few clubs at my school. I am interested in student government and volunteer work to support the homeless. I am reliable and a team player; someone you can count on.
When I'm not playing ball, I go to UC Berkeley college games and my favorite players have been Andrew Vaughn, Jonah Davis, and Erik Martinez. I've also gone to Cornell University baseball games. I go to Oakland A's games whenever I get the chance.
I play travel ball with Top Tier. We won the TRP Memorial Day Tournament in Manteca, California. I play on the Showcase, U16 and U14 teams. I usually play 2nd base, but I also like SS and 3rd. I sometimes get to pitch.
