Mitchell Parker '20 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to be part of a great school and can build on and strive from what I've been taught from my highschool experience. Academically, I'm very determined and hard working and will continue to do so at the next level of my education. Something other teams will not get from others that they will from me is my character and work ethic. I'm always the teammate who likes to make everyone feel at home which some people may be too scared to show on a team. I support my community like a family and I care for my teammates like my own family. I always push my self to be better everyday especially when it comes to my weaknesses. Athletically, I am always doing something every day. A lot of people don't want to work when they have the talent. I'm always working on SOMETHING. There's never a day where someone can finally say they are perfect.  If it was that easy then everyone could play.  I am one of the many who don't have the natural born talent to hit balls 400ft or throw 95. That's why I work so hard becasue everyday I have a chance to pass up those who do have the talent and are satisfied. I'm never satisifed with what I've done. If anything I always want to work more. Wether I'm increasing my strength or getting better at my fundamental part of the game. I am always one step of ahead of my opponent when it comes to preparation.  I love the game and what it has to offer, just to be able to play is a blessing every day.
