Raul Castillo '16 Recruiting Profile

 Everywhere I go I am known as the kid who can do it all. I have been doubted my whole life and have been beating the odds. I play hard, hustle every play and never give up.I can compete with anyone. If a team is looking for a player with a variety of tools and a well balance at everything he does, then I am the guy. You will not find a ball player more poised with such high confidence, in which if things go great or bad, I still have the same confident look. During my Freshman year, I won defensive player of the year, then the next year, my high school and I went on to win Sectional Championship. I work hard on and off the field receiving a 4.07 throughout my first two and half years of high school. I am a leader someone that you can trust to get the job done. My goal is to receive a college Baseball/academic scholarship to go and get a good education. I understand that you cannot stay in the game of baseball forever, so whichever college I attend will see the hardest worker ever. I would like to pursue ROTC and play baseball if allowed. I believe that I have more than just skill, I have the grades a great personality, the work ethic and also I have tremendous amount of heart. I am a true baseball player not just an athlete. I may not be perfect, but I give a perfect effort every time and you can expect nothing less.
