I played for JV my freshman year...voted Rookie of the year
My sophmore year...I was called up to a stacked Varsity team.....14-1 in League play. I pitched great in the first game....striking out a Top rated career hitter (signed to play for Berkley this year) in 3 pitches. I pitched 4 scoreless innings....but then stumbled in my first varsity start. I was really nervous. The Varsity coach sat me for almost 2 weeks after my initial trouble. Finally, the JV coach asked that I return to give them some help and get some innings in. I finished last season as the MVP of the JV squad....having pitched 54 innings...with 65 strikeouts and 16 bb....and a 1.28 ERA with a WHIP of 1.067
Highlight game: Eastlake High School ranked #1 in the USA....I started the game for Valhalla (at Eastlake) 4.2 innings with 7 strikeouts, 0 walks and 2 runs allowed.
I feel confident that in 2 years I will be pitching at the collegiate level.
My GPA last year was 3.4...but I will get it over 3.5 this year. I have what some coaches say is a Plus Slider, a low to mid 80's Fastball with movement, a sharp curveball, a nasty splitter and a big slow looping curveball.
My current goal is to pitch so well in 2019 and 2020.....that I get an offer from a team in the Big West, Pac 10 or even a place like Fordham where my brother played D-1 football.
