My parents have been the biggest influence on me. They instilled great work ethic, drive and integrity in me. I began to have the same passion for baseball once my step dad came into my life. Baseball has continued to be my passion and focus since then. One of my greatest experiences was participating in the All World tournament in Reno, Nevada. I got to do what I love most and compete against other teams from across the nation. I have participated in numerous tournaments with my travel ball team and with my year-round high school team. Some of the greatest learning experiences were when I played 16u tournaments when I was 13. I love playing against higher levels because that’s where I excel. I have been playing with my high school because they play year around and participate in many tournaments. One of my first experiences with my varsity team was playing in the D1 Dustin Pedroia Summer Classic where I led off and started in the outfield. I performed very well and had several clutch hits and RBIs.
An important part of my life is my autistic brother, Justin. He is 20 years old and lives in a care home. I enjoy seeing him improve and grow. He has taught me to be respectful to everyone’s situation. In the same way, I treat all my coaches and teammates with respect. I am also active in my community; I am a Greeter at my church; I feed the homeless; and I always volunteer for my high school team. I want to be the best teammate I can be and always be supportive of one another. I will be a good fit for your baseball team and will be able to make an impact immediately. Ultimately, I am looking for a great fit athletically and academically.
