Malcolm Bautista '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello Future Coach,

My name is Malcolm Bautista.  I’m Class of 2024.  I’ve been putting in the hard work in the classroom and on the field.  I’ve even joined a couple of clubs because having fun is something I’ve learned is equally important.  
Currently, my interests are, baseball, (of course), skiing, and I’m most proud of the four year engineering program that I’ll be completing.  This program has prepared me for my college life and career path.  I have accepted an academic scholarship to Roger Williams University in Rhode Island where I will be walking on as a tryout player.  If something more definite comes up, I would definitely consider making a change.  I'm a pretty good student and attending college and playing baseball, is my absolute goal.  Civil, mechanical, architectural engineering are what I’m deciding between with a minor in environmental science.

  I have a strong bat, quick release and good accuracy.  This year I’m leading in walks, my eagle eye has been fine tuned.  My on base percentage is very high as well.
Being on a team has taught me not to be so hard on myself and I’m constantly working on this. 

Academics have always come easy for me and I pride myself on getting good grades but most importantly, to be a respectful student and teammate.  I will always give 100% and do it with a great attitude.  Thank you.
