I have always loved playing the game of baseball since I was a small child. This love has progressed as I have grown up and played at more and more competitive levels. While I have always enjoyed playing and winning games, I also love getting better as an individual just as much. This attribute has stayed with me as I am always striving to be a better player for my team and for myself.
I would like to play college baseball because I cannot think of life without the game. If I could have any job in the world it would be playing the game of baseball because there is nothing that gives me more pleasure or that I am more passionate about than becoming a better baseball player.
These next four-plus years of my life are said to be my “glory years” of learning and having fun; nothing would give me more pleasure during this time frame than to spend a huge portion of that time improving as a baseball player along with teammates who have the same goals of getting better and winning games.
I want to attend College because I know that gaining a higher education is the best thing one can do for oneself to become a successful member of society. I am currently undecided on what I want to pursue as a major in college or career in life but I know that, 1) college is the best place to figure that out, 2) once I do figure it out, college is the best place to become qualified or educated in that field no matter what it is and, 3) graduating from college is mandatory in finding a successful career.
